Booking Terms and Conditions
It is in the Clients interest to ensure that the stated terms and conditions as set out below, are read through carefully, understood and accepted.
Booking Conditions
Bookings will only be secure on receipt of a £100pp deposit payment. On receipt of the payment the booking will be held. The client registers whist making an online booking or alternatively at www.northernbootcamp.co.uk/register/ if a direct booking has been made. Booking terms and conditions are then accepted. Your booking is NOT confirmed until you have registered online.
Deposit
- A £100pp deposit is required to secure your booking, £200 for Bootcamp Portugal and 14 day camps.
- Full payment is required to secure a booking made less than 4 weeks prior to the event date. 8 weeks for Bootcamp Portugal.
- It is your responsibility to make the full payment 4 or 8 weeks prior to camp, without this your booking will not be guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a client canceling or changing a booking, Northern Bootcamp retains the right to recover the following cancellation charges:
More than 60 days prior to the event – UK Loss of deposit only – Portugal 100% of the total fee is payable.
Less than 30 days prior to the event – 100% of the total fee is payable
Insurance
Our Insurance policy covers Professional Indemnity & Public Liability (downloadable from the website) but we do recommend that you take out Personal Accident Insurance & Personal Belongings Insurance.
In the event of injury or change of circumstances that prevent you from attending boot camp, you will lose be charged as per cancellation policy. Therefore it is recommended that you take out your own insurance to cover this.
Late Arrival
If clients arrive later than the previously agreed start time, Northern Bootcamp reserve the right to reduce the session/camp duration or cancel, depending on the nature of the camp.
Medical Details
You are required to fill out a medical form. If you have any medical conditions that you are concerned about, these must be discussed with Northern Bootcamp staff prior to booking. Any medical issues must also be discussed at the start of the camp with Northern Bootcamp staff, prior to starting the activity.
WARNING
Some activities do contain some element of risk. All activities undergo rigorous risk assessments for health and safety purposes but clients do participate in activities AT THEIR OWN RISK.
Northern Bootcamp staff reserve the right to STOP any person participating in activities/event if they are unruly, deemed not capable, do not follow rules set out by instructors or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Under these circumstances, NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
Injuries
If you are attending camp with any re-occurring injuries or you are unfortunate to pick up an injury during camp, please note the following:
There is a set program of exercise and activity sessions on camp. This cannot be changed to adapt to injury and it is not possible to offer an alternative program. However, if you are able to take part in the session, then the trainers will do their best to offer alternative exercises within that session to adapt to your injury. However, if you cannot walk without pain, there will be a limit on how much you will be able to take part in on camp.
Unless you have a medical emergency, you will be responsible for any visits to doctors/pharmacy or hospital (that don’t require an ambulance). Our team will help where possible with this, but will not be able to drive clients to doctors or pharmacy, unless an emergency.
All of our instructors are first aid qualified, however, we are not trained GP’s or physiotherapists.
