You can now stay on the bootcamp base without having to get up at 7am. We are delighted to have launched a new service that is “Goldenhill Retreats” . The accommodation on bootcamp exceeds so many expectations and the location of the base itself, is on the stunning Northumberland coast, only 3 miles from Bamburgh, voted the UK’s second best beach. Therefore, when we are not running a bootcamp, you can still come to enjoy so many of the benefits the area and ourselves have to offer. We have a range of accommodation from a family or triple room to our new luxury lodges, not forgetting the garden PODS, perfect for individuals, or couples to get cosy. There is the option to indulge in some delicious breakfasts. There is no portion control here, with a full English or tasty poached eggs (fresh from our resident chickens) with avocado and pesto on sour dough – the list goes on.
There is also the draw of been as active or inactive as you choose. Given the base, away from the main road, surrounded by countryside and very self-contained, it is easy to switch off, read a book and chill out. If you prefer some action on holiday, then we have a range of activities to offer. These include water based, coasteering, canoeing, SUP and kayak or land based; climbing, abseiling bushcraft or guided walks. We offer pick up and drop offs for walks and bikes, hire of wetsuits, body boards and even free use of our fantastic fitness facilities.
The accommodation is all ensuite and the 2 pods have their own toilet and showers. All rooms have kettles and most have fridges and if not there is a shared fridge in the communal area, with TV and sofas. Every lodge and room can be double or single occupancy and can be set up as a king bed or a twin bed. There is the option of bringing your own bedding too, if you would prefer. The cleaning team are meticulous and will follow government guidelines and personal judgement to ensure the maximum safety of our guests our team and our family who now live on the bootcamp base.
