I have been to Northern Bootcamp 6 times now. I love every moment of it. The trainers know when/how to push you making sure you get the best out of every session. The mixture of activities means there is something for everyone. The food is amazing. On one of my bootcamps I was there for my birthday and they made sure I had my favourite bootcamp meals. It really feels like family to me. I also met my partner there and we can't wait to be back again in January. Thank you all so much :)

Not just an amazing place, fantastic food, the activities, the instruction, the motivation, the people, really... they have got it all... just right. Can not recommend it highly enough, I just hope they realise, how much they give, and also how much they change people’s life’s.... they give you every tool, be blessed to use it to your full advantage, if you go.

I would highly recommend Northern Boot Camp to anyone. The days are packed full of activities in an amazing setting and I had so much fun! The instructors are all really friendly and knowledgeable and give so much encouragement. It is suitable for all fitness levels and will be adapted to make sessions easier/harder as required depending on how fit you are. Food is great and you will not go hungry. Accommodation is clean and comfortable. Had the opportunity to try out activities I had never done which was amazing, really challenged myself. That said you do not have to do anything you do not wish to do. I did not go to lose weight but lost 8lbs and 6cm from my waist. If you are thinking about booking do it, you won't regret it. I will definitely be going back..... Update! Just returned for the third time and the experience has been equally good each time.

This is now my second time at Northern Bootcamp and it has been an amazing experience, it can also be life changing for some, myself included. Many people come to the camp to lose weight and challenge themselves to get fitter, but you actually leave with so much more than that. I have depression and was already reasonably fit, but I came away from the camp feeling fantastic both physically and mentally. Some of the really positive things I'd like to say about the camp are: Expert and inspirational trainers who want you to succeed, interesting and varied workouts, very good and nutritious food which helps to fuel your workouts. Plenty of adventure style activity, it’s not all about exercise, it’s also about keeping moving and challenging yourself. At bootcamp you will get fitter, lose weight, challenge yourself, learn lots about exercise/nutrition/sleep from the trainers, you will surprise yourself and you will have a LOT of fun, socialise and make new friends.

One year ago, I was at my first Northern Bootcamp. And it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. All my questions up front were answered by the operations manager, she also helped me with the booking and gave me a good feeling to do this. Still I was very nervous on our arriving day, but the team made me feel welcome from the beginning. Throughout the week we had a wide variety of different sessions, exercises and classes and I loved the outdoor activities in the afternoons. As well we got tasteful, well-balanced, healthy food and snacks served by the wonderful kitchen staff. To be honest this first week was extremely hard for me, for my body, and sometimes I didn’t know how to get through it, but the team was very supportive, they really believed in me and helped me to do it, and I did achieve much more than I would have ever thought that I’d be able of. And the team does really care for their clients. I had a lot of fun and pleasure working out with the other campers and everyone was so supportive. Also, we got a lot of useful information about training, food and ideas how to go on at home. For me this week was a real start for a change, not only the weight loss (I’ve lost about 5 stones since last summer) but what counts much more for me, is that I’m much fitter and I’m living a much more energetic and active life since camp. Because I loved it so much I have joined two other Northern Bootcamps and it was amazing to see the progress since the first one. On this way, I also want to send a huge thank you to the whole team, you are all amazing people, who helped me change my life and made me believe in myself again. So, everyone who isn’t sure if they should attend a Northern Bootcamp, I can only advice you: just do it! I bet you will love it too and you will achieve much more than you’d think. And it doesn’t matter how fit or unfit you are or for what reasons you want to do it; the sessions are designed for every level and everyone will work on their own suitable level. Just go for it. I’m already looking forward to the next camp.

The location is ideal. The activities are great fun. The food is excellent. The staff work hard to make it happen. I have wonderful memories and so many new friends. I wish I had done it years ago. 9lbs in a week. 5 stars and my thanks.
I know this will sound cliché...BUT What an amazing two weeks I have had at Boot Camp. This has been one of the most REWARDING experiences of my life. I have battled with my weight all my life and NEVER thought I could achieve the results I did with the help of these wonderful people at Northern Bootcamp, from the initial contact with Leanne who is fantastic at answering and following up all your questions and concerns. All the Trainers, Joel, Caroline, Dan, Bruce, Andy & Neil all so easy to talk to and fantastic at pushing you gently to your limits and beyond. And the Food...CARLA & ANNIE are both the loveliest ladies you could wish to meet, they are as delicious as their food. Also my fellow campmates were so supportive of each other from the start to the finish of the weeks. We met as strangers and left as Friends....and the support has not stopped we are continuing to support and encourage each other even after several weeks of release from Camp. I lost on my first week 12.5lb, the second week 5.5lb and since leaving I have consistently continued to lose several pounds each week, nearing 2st in 6 weeks. The Knowledge from the team is digestible to take away and continue your personal journey. Northern Bootcamp has been my Saviour. I cannot THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH.

This has been a life changing experience I’m not unfit but needed a big push back in the right direction. I did 7 days but Dan and Caz are very flexible to your needs and can offer 1day up to 14days...honestly just call and speak to the lovely Leanne! I’ve lost 6.5lbs and 10cm all over in 7days but what I’ve gained in knowledge is far more. Not only do they handle the fitness side of things they also re-educate you in nutrition,sleep and general well being. I have also met some amazing people who I hope will continue to be in my life and help support each other in our future adventures. But also importantly I’ve come away feeling relaxed and as though I’ve had a real holiday not just a bootcamp experience, the food is incredible and all the staff are amazing and you feel they are fully invested in you finding the best person you can be. I will be back again but hopefully fitter and healthier and smashing some more personal goals! Thank you so much Team Northern Boot camp!!!

Just back from a week at bootcamp and it was absolutely fantastic! Hard work but fun and even conquered some fears! Everyone made friends really quickly and supported each other the whole time. Activities for people of all levels of fitness and the trainers are super knowledgeable. Accommodation and food first class. Beautiful setting in the coast and in the countryside. If you’re unsure whether to book, just do it. You won’t regret it.
So just got back from the most hardest and challenging week of my life but the most amazing thing I have ever done! 7 days bootcamp in the most gorgeous part of the world! I have not only come back just shy of 1 stone lighter and lost 25cm off my body but the main thing is I have come back physically and mentally a stronger person! There were tears, laughter and pain but I would do it all over again! In fact I have already booked to go back again! Best feeling ever! Wow. what an experience. Bootcamp has made me open my eyes to the real world of food and eating healthily. I've taken away so much and I know for a fact now, that when I return for Bootcamp number 2 in September, I'll be healthier, fitter, happier and will be able to push myself further. An amazing experience for the body and mind. As much time as possible was spent outside which was fantastic in January. Every morning on the beach for daybreak. What sets Northern Bootcamp apart is the team. Incredibly positive in a genuine, honest and modest way. I’m going back!

Just back from an action packed Bootcamp weekend! Pushed myself further than I thought was possible and tried things I simply never thought I would. Highlights were body boarding and actually catching some waves - what a rush - and, of course, the chocolate balls!! Thank you!!

I was dreading a week in Northumberland on Bootcamp when I'd rather have been in the sunshine by a beach. How wrong I was. What an amazing week. If you're thinking about it - GO FOR IT �
Well what an amazing camp! From start to finish. I was part of the august 18 camp and from booking to arriving Leanne was amazing answering all my queries and helping me with everything I needed. From start to finish the camp and the team was just awesome they have so much knowledge and it's great I've learnt so much from being there 7 days if you think this is a starvation camp your wrong 3 meals a day and two snacks the food was beautiful and filling. They put together fabulous activities and great HIIT classesvyou get pushed to your absolute limit and they accomadate for every fitness level out there it really is inspiring you will not regret booking any camp with these people they truly love what they do and take the time to get to know you've all! I was at the 7 day camp I lost 7.5 lbs and 44.5cm (17 inches) off my body I've left with such confidence and can't wait to carry on this journey they've helped me so much with drive and help me plan what's next! I already can't wait to go back next year!
This was my first bootcamp and I have to say that I was really impressed. Not only was everything brilliantly organised but Dan, Caroline and team are all amazingly dedicated, encouraging and supportive. This was a major reboot for me and I don't think I could have found a better place to do it.
What an amazing place! I spent two weeks here, and even though I had some health difficulties the brilliant staff supported me through. I conquered fears and left 10.5 lbs lighter! I can't recommend Northern Bootcamp enough, I can't wait to go back. Also the food is just superb, so tasty and satisfying. The variety of activities are brilliant... HIIT workouts, boxing, hill sprints, abseiling, coasteering, bush craft to name but a few. Thank you NBC Crew you're all awesome!
Had a fab week at northern boot camp. Enjoyed it so much that I have booked another week next January! The food was amazing, the exercise was tough, the staff team are great and I even lost 8lbs in 6 days
Great bunch of people who really cared about me having a positive experience. The workouts were challenging, the activities were fun and the food was delicious, it certainly challenged my long held beliefs about what portion sizes my food needed to be to keep a clear head and plenty of energy. The nutritional advice was sound and practical and it was clear the team really wanted this to be a life changing event as much as I did. I have not tried other boot camps but other participants were clear that this was the best they have found. I got more from the experience than I anticipated and changed the shape of my body - I highly recommend this excellent place set in some beautiful countryside.
I was one of the crazy people who opted for a 2 week weight loss camp. I am someone who was last very much active when at school but let things very much slip with all the distractions and temptations of modern life. I chose this bootcamp because of the stunning Northumberland location. It will not disappoint! I would describe this programme as both holistic and varied. They look carefully at all aspects: dietary intake; energy expenditure and exercise; and the psychological challenges of making lifestyle changes. My little garden pod room accommodation was a delight to be in. The types of activities were very varied, and I learned so much about different types of exercise and stretching techniques, and the science of burning fat and building muscle. When it came to thinking about action planning for myself after leaving the camp, I realized that I had been exposed to so many different types of activity and that some could definitely be incorporated into my weekly routine. The food was amazing. I was someone who loves my food, and it was enlightening and inspirational to see how calorie-conscious healthy options can still be very enjoyable. I never left an empty plate. And this camp would not be the success it is without the people. They care about you, they motivate you, and are great examples and role models in themselves with their backgrounds and physical condition. I would look to them for their expert guidance and pastoral care for health and fitness in the future, no question. Don't underestimate the value of your fellow campers as well - they were instrumental in keeping up motivation and humour when you are hobbling around with muscle ache from the first few days! Thank you Northern Bootcamp for everything. I will undoubtedly be back.

I loved my time at Northern Bootcamp and wish I could go more often. I will definitely be back. It's the best way to focus on your goals, clear your head, eat well and be with professional instructors. Accommodation, food, classes, instructors all excellent.
My third Bootcamp at Northern Bootcamp - excellent staff, facilities and food! It really is suitable for all levels of fitness. Prepare to challenge yourself in a positive way. It will change the way you view health and nutrition (at least it did me!). I'm so glad I 'made the effort' to book it (and then go through with it!)
Had a fab weekend on the triathlon boot camp! Would recommend t anyone thinking of doing one or having done a few and looking for tips. Rather worn out but learnt loads on all 3 disciplines. Thanks Bruce, Jon and Hettie.
There is a word for the northern bootcamp weightloss team.. caring. All the staff genuinely care about each and every one of their campers. This is the first bootcamp I've been to, so have nothing to compare it with, but it seems to me that Caroline and Dan have the format sewn up. From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave they have a plan and it is executed with each individual at its heart. For such a tiny person Caroline just oozes empathy, its like being hugged just being in her company. Each team member brings a different approach, from the relentless scouse encouragement of Dave and his white board of terror, to Annie, providing well earned sustenance with real thought and consideration. But this is no easy ride. You work for your results and you work hard. I cannot fault the instruction. Form, warming up, stretching, nutriton, all taught in perfect detail with huge emphasis on keeping you injury free, so you leave educated and ready to continue on your own. Thank you for making a difference.
Stunning people/owners/trainers, stunning place! Just completed 7 days at Northern Bootcamp and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. If like me you are looking for structure in exercise and eating to achieve better fitness and lose inches WITH outdoor activities there is no better place than Northern Bootcamp. I embarked upon this venture alone and met a fantastic group of people who I have a great respect for and who made my week brilliant. I'm not going to give too much away because if you are reading this worried or apprehensive don't be, just book it and go, be brave, it'll change you! Thank you Caroline & Dan for making your dream a reality. Massive respect to Dave the Destroyer, I still hear you in my sleep! And Bruce, you are absolutely brilliant, loved your circuits and the Mr Men!! Not forgetting Annie who kept us alive with her delicious meals and Neil and Hetti for their ongoing support and motivation 😉 I'll be back x
Just finished a weekend camp and loved every minute of it. Everyone is so supportive and really pushes each other through the activities. All the staff were fab and really supportive too- if your slacking they'll tell you but if your struggling they'll help. I've booked another one for May and got so many tips of things to do from the weekend to up my fitness ready for then � thanks everyone for a great weekend

Northern Bootcamp is amazing. The facilities are fantastic, the instructors can modify and suit all the exercises to your capabilities and encourage you to do the best you can in a friendly and motivating way. All the staff are great and that includes the ones in the kitchen they make great tasting food and can cater to all your needs. I can't recommend this place enough. If you are considering a Bootcamp this is the place to go; helpful before, during and after your visit to them and when you return you feel like part of their Northern Bootcamp family.

I had a taster - one day bootcamp, and it was great. The team is amazing, the place is surrounded by nature and good views. I had a very tough day, but worth it. I truly recommend!

I have spent the last 20 years moving from one diet to the next, always active but never able to loose weight, only now after experiencing 7 days with the excellent bootcamp team do I feel confident that I have the increased knowledge and attitude to actually achieve my goal .... in the addition to that I've lost 8lb in weight and 20cm in measurements along the way, made some great friends and had so much fun trying out new activities and pushing myself to limits I didn't know I had � I can't recommend Northern Bootcamp enough to anyone for weight loss or fitness, the team's knowledge and expertise is superb, the food is delicious and the opportunities are vast �
I can't believe that I actually lasted 11 days in this superb Bootcamp with these wonderful people!! Even at the ripe old age of 73 I gained so much information and lost a significant amount of weight! Every exercise and activity was individualised as to how you could manage it. Everyone in the team was exceptional in their knowledge. They were caring and made each and every person on the course feel that they were important to them. I learnt how to abseil down a cliff, canoe on the Tweed, body board in the north sea and how to survive the night in a forest! I even walked 9 miles on a country hike!! A big thank you to all and everyone on the team who encouraged me constantly, especially Neil who had to walk at a snail’s pace with me on hikes! The food was exceptional, cooked on the premises with local produce and ample quantities. The snacks were delicious. I never felt hungry once! Looking forward to receiving your cook book ‘Bootcamp Kitchen’ Caroline and keeping to the healthy way of life that I learnt from you. I will always remember your voice saying ‘Portion Control’. Would love to come again – if you will have me!!
Northern Bootcamp run an amazing camp in Portugal at Lagos. Beautiful villa and grounds. The usual delicious fresh wholesome food. Fantastic sessions utilising local facilities including various stunning beaches; the sea kayaking trip was awesome with a pod of dolphins following us on the way out to the launch site. The mountain biking trip and walk were a great way to see a bit more of this beautiful area. Body boarding was the best! We were both delighted with the improvements in our fitness, the best part of a stone lost between us not to mention the centimetres! Really easy to travel to the villa from Faro airport using cheap reliable local transport. Can't wait to return next year.
I got a great opportunity to join Northern Bootcamp for 2 days and had an amazing time! The food was delicious, exercise enjoyable, and trainers very friendly and encouraging. I'd definitely go back and do at least 7 days - especially after losing 8 pounds in just 2 days! Thanks for the great experience xx
I can't thank the whole team enough, completely changed my attitude to fitness. I've learnt so much about fitness and nutrition that I'll continue to implement. I can't wait to return!
I'm just back from my 7 day boot camp. All I can say is wow! I have had an amazing week, with a fantastic group of people. Cone final weights and measures, I was absolutely gobsmacked by my 13lb loss!! It is safe to say I will most definitely be back!!

Brilliant Fantastic Amazing is how I would describe the overall experience of Northern Bootcamp. You are constantly motivated and encouraged to try your best but never pressured to do anything that you don't want to do...there is always an alternative. This week has definately made me feel that 'this girl can' and thanks to Northern Bootcamp this girl (oldish girl) will carry on and is determined to accomplish those goals I made myself. Thank you for some of the best experiences of my life...I'll be back for some more x
Just back from another fantastic week at Northern Bootcamp. Met some lovely people, great team of staff, got pushed physically, lovely food and very happy with my 10lb weight loss this morning! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fitness push.
Just at the airport on the way home from Portugal where I have just spent a week in Lagos with Northern Bootcamp and 11 other campers. It's been a truly amazing week and I can't believe how much we have managed to fit in and how much I was able to achieve. The team out there looked after us from start to finish, Caroline, Dan, Dave and Bruce too care of the programme and our exercise sessions - in 6 days we had no repeat session and as a repeat camper I was impressed with the newly devised programme from Dave. Annie was amazing in the kitchen - kept churning out delish and healthy food for us hungry campers and the staff. Was great she could join us on some of the activities too. We had a group of mixed abilities and every one smashed in. Weight loss and cm loss were inevitable but I think everyone has left with a new found motivation and determination to meet the goals we set. I found the exercise planning sessions vital and after my 1-2-1 with Dan I am drawing up a plan of my own to stay on track and ensure that when I get back in Oct to my next plan I will have moved myself forward in terms of health and fitness. Don't think you are not fit enough to come to a NBC camp - they are great at ensuring everyone has achievable goals and feels great. Thanks to the whole team. An awesome week.
I am older than the average client and worried about my fitness level. However I was so relieved by how well the camp was tailored to my individual level. I enjoyed my week more than I ever throughout I would and have since changed my life long eating patterns and have continued to exercise daily, albeit not to the level I did on camp but I'm leading a far healthier lifestyle than I did before and the best thing is I feel great. The team are amazing, inspirational, supportive and so knowledgable. I can't recommend this place and the people enough. It is a really special experience with a life long impact.
I attended a seven day bootcamp in January and absolutely loved it. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely want to help you. I learnt so much from how to really push myself and get the most from my exercise to nutrition and so much more. Food by Annie was outstanding, accommodation cosy and comfortable and overall it was just an awesome experience. I can't thank you guys enough I believe in myself again and i am ready for anything. My mind and body are finally working together again and I am quickly heading towards the best shape of my life. 1st 5lb loss has blown me away and my fitness level has improved immensely. I have left the camp lighter but gained knowledge about healthy eating, exercising with correct form and how to get the maximum out of each workout. Last but not leased I've gained some great friends and I can't wait to get back to camp and continue my journey. Thank you all very much from all of us at the Riley household.
Just finished a 4 day session and it exceeded my expectations 10x over! The trainers are excellent and have a wealth of knowledge between them! The activities/training sessions are so varied you never get fed up exercising! Overall experience was fantastic! Also, I lost 9lbs...need I say anymore? Would recommend to anyone and everyone, they are there to cater for whatever your abilities! :) Can't wait to go back!
1 month post Bootcamp and still feeling the benefit. I can't believe that you can turn your life around completely in just one week. The exercises and nutritional advice are easy to follow and bring into your own life situation. Two big changes for me are no wheat and exercising before breakfast. I have managed to lose another 1/2 stone post camp and went down clothes sizes which is great. I am looking forward to 2016 with more energy. Give it a go and enjoy this amazing experience.
I've had the time of my life and I've never felt this way before yes I swear its the truth and I owe it all to northern boot camp. just returned from a 7 day camp and all I can say is wow I had a brilliant time the food was fab and the staff were excellent cant wait to book my next one hopefully soon and I would recommend it to everyone

Had an amazing time ! People were fab and Team Bootcamp were amazing! I was so unfit and I still managed to loose 10pounds in a week! Lost more since I got home and going to the gym 3 times a week now! They have converted me! Have booked up for another camp next year! Totally recommend this Bootcamp it's changed my life - I'm a new woman :)

Since coming home after a 7 day bootcamp at the end of March, my life has changed in terms of food and exercise. I have started a weekly kettle bell class as well as daily abs training and morning exercises and I am continuing to eat the delicious food started at bootcamp. Thanks Caroline, Dan and Liz.

I have done a Bootcamp before and there was no comparison to this one! The trainers are excellent, Dan, Dave and Liz are motivating, push you and do it supportively. Every day was different, the exercises are superb, difficult but so worth it. The food was excellent, thanks Liz and he accomodation is really comfortable and I stayed in a quad room! I will definitely return and cannot recommend Northern Boot Camp highly enough. If you want to lose weight or step change your exercise routine,by is is a great way to get going!

Life changing experience. The food was amazing, tasty, healthy and filling. Dan, Caroline, Dave and Liz did everything they could to encourage us and motivate us to be healthy and active without being offensive, rude or too in your face. The property is lovely and homely and the location is beautiful. It is hard but it's manageable and all the support and knowledge given by the guys is priceless. Completely worth it!
I've just completed bootcamp abroad after winning the competition on fb... I thought I was lucky when I won it just didn't realise how lucky...it has been one of the best weeks of my life I ave enjoyed every minute (except the hill sprints) all the exercise, activities (canyoning and knee boarding is amazing) food has been lovely, met some amazing people and as a bonus lost 10lb THANKYOU so much Caroline and Dan u are amazing
The most amazing holiday you will have and spend time with like minded , enthusiastic trainers , who are easy to talk to , excellent at their job and take your needs and desires seriously . Never regretted any of the 9 camps done
A fantastic , professional and fun experience . Tried things I had never done before and felt well supported. Aching today.. but so worth it ! Can't wait for my return visit
This Bootcamp is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. It is not run 'army ' style but with encouragement and humour. The food is lovely and they cater well for all tastes( even fussy like me!). I would recommend this as a 'kick ' start and as a follow up into a healthier and more active lifestyle.
