Today we are bringing you a classic exercise straight from our Northern Bootcamp fitness tests – the mighty squat. Do it in front of the tv, in the kitchen, when you’re waiting for the kettle to boil… it doesn’t take many to make you feel tired and you’ll really feel the benefit.
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, and squat to a sitting position, then stand up straight again. It’s that easy. Aim to do at least 10, but the more the better. If you can find you can do dozens before you feel tired, then try lifting something with a bit of weight to add a challenge.
