Those of you who have been following our social feeds for a while now may remember last year’s #AdBreakExercise campaign.
Well now it’s back and better than ever!
#AdBreakExercise is about finding moments here and there to do short bursts of exercise – especially during the advert break of your favourite TV show.
When the evenings close in and the weather gets worse, it can be harder than ever to find time to fit in a full exercise routine. We spent the summer telling you about the benefits of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) – and while our snippets of #AdBreakExercise won’t go as far as a full-on HIIT routine, they will help you achieve small benefits.
Even two minutes’ worth of exercise without equipment – squats, press-ups or sit-ups, to name just three – can be enough make your muscles work and your heart pump.
At Northern Bootcamp, we believe the only bad exercise is the one you didn’t do – so keep an eye on our social feeds during your favourite evening TV shows to see if we can inspire you to achieve those incremental improvements that can make all the difference.
Below are some examples of typical #AdBreakExercise ideas you’ll be able to look out for. Don’t forget to tweet us to let us know how you’re getting on, or if you think of any we can add to our list!
