Super Green Detox Smoothie
The next addition of our #AdventAbs focuses on what we drink, high sugar drinks are a big part of the obesity problems, and too many times we’re ordering the large size or picking the non-diet version. Today we’ve laid out an easy and healthy alternative, packed with nutrients. We weren’t bowled over by the idea of a green smoothie, until we tried this one, take the dive and enjoy!
1 banana (frozen)
Handful of kale
1 kiwi fruit
400ml coconut/almond milk
Place all ingredients into a blender and let the juices flow!
#AdventAbs Day 8 – Swan Dive
Lie on your stomach, stretch your arms overhead, point your toes, and lift your arms and legs about 6 inches off the ground. Hold for 1 count, imagining your legs being pulled out and back, away from your hips.
Next, circle your arms out to the sides and behind you. Exhale and reach your arms toward your toes, palms facing in (shown). Hold for 1 count, then bring arms back to starting position and relax entire body to ground. Repeat 6–8 times.
